Absolute Radio 60s is a British radio station dedicated to music from the 1960s.
In fact, 1960s songs have been largely dropped from the station, while still playing 1970s songs such as More Than a Feeling by Boston.
On December 27, 2009, the station tweaked to a classic hits format and dropped most 1960s titles, and added some 1990s titles, while emphasizing on 1970s and 1980s music.
Pure radio has mainstream programming during the day and community-focused shows in the evening cover topics such as sexuality, aging and health, as well as specialist music shows including classic 60s, indie, funk, punk, soul and blues.
