The library has a multidisciplinary wing (the Khalid Ishaq Wing) dedicated to jurist and scholar Khalid M. Ishaq, who donated 92,957 books from his collection to the library.
Duraid graduated from LUMS, and made her debut in drama production with her first serial, Mere Paas Paas.
She is presently working as ‘Writer in Residence’ in the Social Sciences Department at Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Currently (May–July 2006) Ambassador Hassan is a visiting faculty at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) where he is teaching two courses - SS 3212 Politics of International Terrorism and SS 3213 US involvement in the Middle East.
