Throughout the 1980s, it released material from artists such as Michael Moorcock, Robert Calvert, Hawkwind, The London Cowboys, Erazerhead, Alien Sex Fiend, Nico and Underground Zerø.
The use of the slashed zero by many computer systems of the 1970s and 1980s inspired the 1980s space rock band Underground Zerø to use the Scandinavian vowel ø in the band's name and as the band Logo on all their album covers (see link below)
They performed at the large open air concert Anglia for Africa in Norwich in 1985, which also featured Hawkwind, Magnum, Amazulu, Eek-A-Mouse and Dean Friedman.
